Watching of Telegraph Cove.
Reports 38 killer whales spotted at various
locations within Johnstone Strait. There was multiple spyhops,
fantastic vocals (above & below surface), Belly rolls,
tail slaps, foraging, surfacing and pectoral fin slaps. Also
seen on the trip were Dall's Porpoise, 80-100 Pacific
White-Sided Dolphins playing around the boat and a great
variety of sea birds. Captain's Comments "Oh what a
day - 38 socializing whales … great, great, great!"

Island Whale Watching of Telegraph Cove.
Reports 34 killer whales spotted at Donegal
Head. There was spy hopping, tail slaps, travelling, foraging,
surfacing and pectoral slaps. Also seen on the trip were
Dall's Porpoise, Seals and Eagles.

- Reports 17 killer whales spotted 7 mile east of
Telegraph Cove, Blackfish Sound. Also seen on the trip
were Dall's Porpoise, and Eagles. Excellent whale watching
conditions.

Seasmoke Whale Watching
On our whale watching expeditions yesterday we
encountered the following whales: The Al Pod- A12 Subpod the
Matriarch A12 , her son A33 and her daughter A34 and A34's
three calves, A55, A62 and A67. The A5 pod-A8 subpod-Mother
and her three daughters. A51 with her daughter and son.
Activities observed: Travelling, foraging,
spyhopping, tail and pectoral slaps.
Other species encountered were: A Minke
Whale, Dall's porpoise, A Stellar sea lion, Harbour
seals, Bald Eagles many sea-birds including Rhinoceros
Auklets, Common Murre and Marbled Murrelets.

Seasmoke Whale Watching
On our whale watching expeditions yesterday we
encountered the following whales:The Al Pod- A12 Subpod the
Matriarch A12 (58 years of age), her son A33 (28 years of age)
and her daughter A34 (24 years of age) and A34's three calves,
A55 (9 years of age), A62 (5 years of age) and A67 (2 years
old).
Activities observed: Travelling, tail and
pectoral slaps, some breaching by calves.
Other species encountered were: Harbour
seals, Bald Eagles many sea-birds including Rhinoceros
Auklets, Common Murre and Marbled Murrelets.
