The Gulf Islands are located at the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Over 200 islands make up the Gulf Islands, with the 5 major islands being Salt Spring, Pender, Galiano, Mayne and Saturna. These 5 are accessible by ferry and are popular destinations for anyone visiting British Columbia. Located between Vancouver and Victoria and north of the San Juan Islands of Washington State, the Gulf Islands are a short trip from several major centres.
